We’ve always wanted to talk more about Ambrook than they’ve wanted to share publicly. The team has been very open about their mission (bringing financial sustainability to ‘real economy’ industries such as farming, trucking, manufacturing and so on); about their commitment to making sure everyone at the company is benefitting from AI’s capabilities (Momentum Month, or Teach a Man to Fish); and their commitment to radical honesty as a cultural tenet. But when it comes to the business side, they’ve chosen to be a little humble knowing there’s lots of work to be done. Today at least we get to break their rule.
Ambrook just shared news of their $30 Million Series B, which means they’ll be doing even more hiring and even more building. And while their messaging is still customer-first (“Really big, multi-million dollar businesses run on paper in America still, and I don’t think people realize that,” CEO Mackenzie Burnett told Upstarts’ Alex Konrad), maybe we - as early investors - can do a little bit of promotion on their behalf: it’s a great time to join Ambrook. If you’ve wondered whether you can pick a place where you’ll get to do your best work, with talented colleagues, in an environment you’ll help shape, AND still have the chance to participate in the financial upside of a successful outcome, we can tell you that Ambrook is a fit. Yes you’ll work hard, and even a well-funded startup is still a startup, but you will be opening the door to something that will be meaningful for your life. So if the gig you’re at, or the gig you just left, didn’t check all those boxes, why wait?
Way to go Ambrook! We look forward to many more milestones.
