Hello Scuba! The shared context engine for teams and their agents raises $34 million.

October 18, 2026

Where to begin on this one? The easiest place is probably with Scuba’s CEO Noah Weiss, a friend and fellow product management traveler for years. When Noah said he was going to start a company it was an easy decision to lend our support. That enthusiasm compounded when he told us it would be with Dolapo Falola, a talented builder we’d previously encountered and gotten to know as well.

Next they raised some capital from other people who knew them well and started putting together a crack team in NYC. Before we knew it there was an early version of Scuba in our hands and it was clear they had started going down a very compelling path. Their Hello World blog post puts it best:

We believe AI should amplify your judgment, taste, and expertise. Every company should build with a mind of its own.

Scuba is the shared memory your team has been missing. Capture anything. Share what matters. Scuba organizes it all automatically.

With Scuba and our agents, our 10-person company builds like a 100-person one. Yours can, too.

Still it was all happening quietly, despite IYKYK buzz that kept VCs and press looking for a way in. When they ultimately decided it was time to share more, Alex Konrad/Upstarts wrote up the backstory and his own analysis.

At Homebrew we’ve been using Scuba for a while now, for example creating a Collection of analyst research reports on AI, which as we add new ones, allows Scuba to (i) automatically update the ongoing trend summary of the total analysis, (ii) notify team members of new reports via summarization, and (iii) provides an AI-enabled interface for questions like “how have analyst estimates of data center Capex changed during 2026.”

If you want to try Scuba for yourself, they’re opening the doors a little wider. And if you live in NYC and want to join this team, they’re hiring.
