We talk often about “founder<>market fit” at Homebrew - mostly in the sense that we want to see some connection between the people starting the company and the problem they’re solving. In the case of DeepWeave, Uni and David are among the sharpest minds in EDA and chip design so it’s no surprise (but definitely our delight) that they’re working together on a first principles issue: attacking physical design of chips and manufacturing holistically.
What does that mean? In Uni’s own words,
